Give Me Back My Eden

The modern world is certainly not the heaven
I was hoping for. I do not want the Earth turned
into one big city, a giant mall/insane asylum.
I have a quieter place in mind, one where forests cover
most of the planet, and the number of people is reduced
to a manageable level. I want to see the stars at night,
and enjoy summer again. I want the big, deep snows
of yesterday, and the distinctness of the four seasons.
Why do we keep killing paradise?
