Nature’s Sweetest Kiss

As daylight drains away
And a chill dews off the lake
A breeze blows away a memory’s seed
And from the toils of the day, a mind is freed

A comforting embrace settles in like a sigh
As the purple shadows of dusk creep in
And soft swells of night sounds rise
Greeting the moon’s light in the evening skies

Nature’s sweetest kiss is found
In the ebb and flow at the waters edge
The rhythm of it makes one feel whole
As currents move, and gently polish the soul
